By creating an account with DeviceBuyers.com or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms may be updated or modified at any time, and any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on the DeviceBuyers.com website.
DeviceBuyers.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website and services at any time, at our sole discretion, including—but not limited to—instances where you fail to comply with this Agreement or any of our policies or procedures.
To complete a trade-in or any other transaction with DeviceBuyers.com, you must meet the following requirements:
Provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information about yourself and any device you submit.
Agree to and comply with all terms outlined in this Agreement.
Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including import and export rules.
Act solely on your own behalf and not on behalf of any third party.
Be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
Have full ownership of the device and the legal right to transfer it, free of any liens or claims.
To receive payment for any devices submitted through a trade-in, you must provide DeviceBuyers.com with accurate and up-to-date contact information, including your full name, a valid email address, and a postal address where you can receive mail. Payments will be issued at our sole discretion and may be made via check, PayPal™, or another approved electronic payment method.
DeviceBuyers.com is not responsible for any communication issues resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated contact information provided by you. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can receive emails from us and that our messages are not blocked or filtered into your spam or junk folder.
By using our services, you understand and agree that:

Any unclaimed funds may be subject to collection by government agencies in accordance with applicable unclaimed property and escheat laws.
You acknowledge and agree that DeviceBuyers.com has no further obligation to you for any unclaimed payments that are lawfully turned over to a governmental authority.
Sales Tax applied to all orders shipped to states or jurisdictions where DeviceBuyers.com is legally required to collect it.
Domestic shipping within the United States is free. DeviceBuyers.com reserves the right to select the shipping carrier at its sole discretion.
DeviceBuyers.com regularly reviews and updates pricing based on several factors, including market trends and the condition of each device. We do not offer price matching with other companies, and once a payment has been issued, pricing adjustments cannot be made. At DeviceBuyers.com, we aim to make the process of trading in your electronics as simple and transparent as possible. While final pricing may be subject to change upon inspection, in approximately 90% of cases, customers receive the exact amount quoted during the initial submission.To help ensure accurate quotes, we’ve outlined five condition categories that your device may fall under:
Brand New: The device is still in its original factory-sealed packaging and includes all original accessories, unused and unopened.
Perfect: The device is in like-new or excellent condition with no noticeable wear and is fully functional.
Good: The device shows light to moderate signs of wear but remains fully functional.
Damaged: The device displays heavy or excessive wear but still works as intended.
Very Damaged: The device has significant physical damage, heavy wear, or broken parts but remains fully functional.
The condition categories listed above are general guidelines to help you assess your device. Each Offer page will include more specific details about what qualifies under each category for that particular product. DeviceBuyers.com reserves the right to update or refine these category definitions at any time. However, if you've already submitted your device before any such changes, your original Offer will remain valid.Please note that certain issues may not be immediately visible during your own assessment. Our trained Technical Specialists conduct a thorough inspection upon receiving your device, which may uncover hardware or functionality concerns that were not previously identified. If there is a discrepancy—such as an incorrect model selection or condition that differs from what was submitted—we may need to adjust your quoted price accordingly.That said, it’s not always bad news! In some cases, if our evaluation shows that your device is in better condition than expected, we may offer more than your original quote.If you’re unsure how to classify your device, feel free to reach out to our team. DeviceBuyers.com retains sole discretion in the final evaluation of all electronic devices submitted. If our inspection results in a change to the originally quoted price, we will notify you of the updated offer. You will then have three (3) days to accept or decline the new offer.If we do not hear from you within those three days, we will assume you’ve accepted the revised offer and will proceed with payment using your selected payment method.Please note that all original quotes are valid for twenty-one (21) days from the date they are issued. If we receive your device after this period, we reserve the right to re-evaluate it based on current market pricing at the time of receipt.
DeviceBuyers.com reserves the sole right to determine which devices are eligible for trade-in through our website and services, as well as which eligible devices will receive an offer. We may update or remove product eligibility at any time without prior notice. However, any offer you’ve already accepted will remain valid for twenty-one (21) days, regardless of any subsequent changes to product eligibility.
Damaged, Tampered, or Modified Devices
While our “Broken” category is designed to cover the most severe forms of damage, there may be cases where a device has suffered extreme or unusual damage beyond the scope of that category. In such instances, DeviceBuyers.com reserves the right to revise the original offer based on the actual condition of the device.If our Technical Specialists determine that a device has been opened, tampered with, or modified in any way, we will adjust the quoted price accordingly and in line with the terms of this Agreement.
If your device’s battery holds less than 80% of its original capacity or lasts less than one hour during normal use, DeviceBuyers.com will adjust the quoted price to reflect the reduced functionality. This ensures the offer accurately represents a device with diminished battery performance.
Devices with personal engravings will typically be downgraded by one condition tier, and the offer will be adjusted accordingly. This helps ensure the value reflects the impact engravings may have on resale potential.
The Process:
Shipping
Once you ship your electronic device(s), please allow up to five (5) business days for them to arrive at our facility. This timeframe includes standard carrier transit and internal handling upon delivery.
Testing
After your device arrives, our Technical Specialists will begin a thorough inspection, typically completed within 4 to 7 business days. If your device is missing required accessories, additional time may be needed to complete testing.
Payment
Once your device has been evaluated:If everything matches the condition you selected, we’ll process your payment using the method you chose at checkout.
If the condition differs, we’ll send you a revised offer, which you’ll have three (3) days to accept or decline.
If we don’t receive a response within that window, we’ll assume acceptance and issue payment accordingly.

Larger Payments
Orders totaling $1,000.00 or more may require up to an additional three (3) business days for processing.
Non-Major Carrier Phones
Devices tied to non-major CDMA carriers (i.e., not Verizon or Sprint) may take up to seven (7) business days longer to process, as additional checks may be necessary.
If DeviceBuyers.com determines, in its sole discretion, that a submitted device does not match the condition described by the seller, a revised offer will be issued. The seller will have three (3) business days to accept or decline the revised offer. If no response is received within the stated timeframe, the revised offer shall be deemed accepted and payment will be issued accordingly.In the event a revised offer is declined, the affected device will be returned at no cost to the seller. For multi-item submissions, only the device associated with the revised offer will be eligible for return. All other devices will be processed and are not eligible for return.If a device is determined to have no market value and no response is received within the response period, the device will be responsibly recycled and no payment or return will be issued. DeviceBuyers.com is not responsible for any accessories, protective cases, or data remaining on the device once submitted. Return of any such items is not guaranteed. Free return shipping does not apply if a device is:
Misrepresented in the original submission,
Reported as lost or stolen,
Activation or iCloud locked,
Carrying a bad ESN or financed IMEI.
DeviceBuyers.com does not accept devices that are locked by any of the following security features, including but not limited to: Activation Lock, Find My iPhone, FRP Lock, Google Lock, Samsung Lock, or Firmware Lock.
